6/3/10: : Got the wheels back yesterday from Weldcraft - they did an excellent job. I measured run-out on the machine and they were near perfect. They also took very little weight to balance.

3/31/10: We may be changing the wheels up a bit. We got a couple of sets of Roush forged 18x10 wheels (scratch and ding models) and decided we may like these better. As luck may have it, the offsets were very close front and rear. Only problem is that an 18x10 won't like the front clearances, so we are going to have to get the fronts narrowed since there is no such thing as an 18x9 in this model. Not the hugest fan of chrome, but it is growing on me.

11/21/07 - Mock-up fronts arrive

We found a pair of wheels, which are genuine Ford Racing FR500's, and they even came with 265 35/R18 tires (although they do not have much life left).  Look great on the front of the car - we just need to get some real suspension on the car.

9/3/07 - Wheels meet tires

Finally found some used tires to use a mock ups for the vehicle.  The rears are 315/30/ZR18 and a quite large to say the least.  They should enhance traction somewhat :).  You can see below the difference in comparison to stock.  They look great with the FR500's.  These FR500 wheels are used once for mockup as well, and will need to be 10.5" wide for the final build, and will need to be from a 2005+ Mustang to get the correct backspacing.  The SN95 wheels stick out past the wheel openings too much.

Test Wheel (From Ebay) has arrived.  FR500 Black 18x10.  SVT logos look great in the center.  Custom Twin Torino ones to come.  Just need to find a spare tire to get things started.

Roush 18x9 and 18x10 - Likely would be blacked out and leave chrome lip.

Ford Racing FR500 w/black centers - 18x9 and 18x10.  Possibly 19's.  Will have custom TwinTorino centers.
